This page serves to offer all athletes a voice in their community. Athletes endure a lot of injuries in sports, especially football due to it's contact. We need to work together to make football a safe sport for all to play, and that is what this website is here to do.

NFL changes rules regarding kickoff plays to help reduce injuries.

It is now illegal to hit any quarterback helmet-to-helmet.

2005

It is now illegal to grab the inside shoulder pad of any player for a tackle. (Horse-Collar).

Project

This project was a research paper done to illustrate the dangers of the game of football for its players. It's a lengthy read but contains a lot of information which may shock you about American Football and the dangers that athletes face.

Youth football player Matthew Collins writes a poem for school about how he wishes football were safe. His dad was paralyzed from playing at a younger age, and Matthew just wants to play without worrying about getting hurt.
